Maybe you see a few things on this list that you enjoy, or maybe you would rather read a recipe or a user's manual for your new phone. Whatever the case, there are always plenty of things to read!
This year at LLT, our school Media Center will be a great resource for finding just the right books to keep you reading all year long. I'll let you know as soon as the Media Center is up and running.

A Little About Me...
I am excited to be working at LLT for the third year. I teach 6th-8th grade Language Arts, Reading, Drama, and Backstage. I also serve as the Language Arts Department Head and FAIR testing coordinator.
I earned my Bachelor's Degree in 1999 from the University of South Florida in Elementary Education. However, my first year teaching was in a middle school and I fell in love with it. So, in 2003, I earned my certification for middle grades Language Arts, qualifying me to teach Kindergarten-9th grade English. I am a 4th generation native Floridian who has taught in a variety of Florida school settings, including public school, private school, and even a traveling carnival school (long story). I love the opportunity to remind students everyday how valuable they are and to encourage them to fight for their dreams.
I not only teach students, but find time to organize their school events such as plays, musicals, dances, ceremonies, and talent shows. I also work seasonally for Busch Gardens as a stage manager, keeping my own performance skills sharpened.
I enjoy performing and lead worship at my church for both kids and adults. I live in Brandon with my 3 children (Jamesyn, Keatyn, and Landyn), my dog, and an escape-artist gerbil.
